Surgical blades are widely used to cut parenchyma of mankind.
1. Technical target for sterile surgical blades
The sterile surgical blades are manufactured in accordance with requirements for surgical 0blades and blade-handles in National Industry Standard-YY/T0174— 0175— 2005and fitting dimension between surgical blade and handle in GB8662— 88, ISO7740— 1985(E).
2. Instruction for use
Test firmness of sealing the aluminum foil to see whether the surface has been damaged or not. Surgical blade is invalid if damaged.
B. Tear out aluminum foil following the word "OPEN".
To avoid pollution from microphyte on operator's fingers, do not touch blade when tear out to open.
3. Storage and transportation
Sterile surgical blades should be stored at a good draught condition with no corrosive gases. Relative humidity should not higher than 80% to prevent rust caused by moisture. Environment should be clean. When moved, pollution and damage should not happen to outer cases to keep sterile of the blades.
4. Validity
Validity of carbon steel surgical blades and stainless steel surgical blades is 5 years after sterilized on condition that storage rules are well executed.
5. Attention
Surgical blade should not be used when the unit package is damaged or out of expiry date.
Surgical blade should not be used second in order to prevent cross-infection.
The used surgical blade should be droped in metal barrel to prevent pollution or injury.
